Post-Apocalyptic Party!

Kyun recently (ok not so recent anymore) invited Ashraf and I to her Post-Apocalyptic party. She is officially 107 years old wohoo! (Btw, hi Kyun!)

The bad-ass party invites which she tried to secretly pass it to us via Ili in Yureka Teppanyaki. YOU DON’T THINK I CANNOT SEE!

My make-up. I spent so much time rubbishly trying to blend my eyeshadows. THEN IT GOES ALL TO WASTE because Ashraf did my zombie make-up afterwards and it’s 10 times better than mine. ._. BBQ.

Large forehead is large. My whole palm is capable of covering it. Therefore, bangs is my bff.

I was actually trying to dress up as Emma Stone in Zombieland minus the hotness that is Emma Stone. I ended up looking…normal lol.

I have no belt, my t-shirt is not even V-neck, leather jacket not even leather…or black for that matter. Emma even has that “I’m a zombie survivor” swag going on. >_>Sheesh.

PARTEH VENUE~! Here we have hardworking specimens getting ready for the party. I wasn’t one of the hardworking specimens.

Ashraf as a creepy Captain Marvelous. MY MAKE-UP ON HIM WAS DAMN BAD OH GOSH. We googled “zombie make-up”, he picked one cool-looking photo and I somehow managed to mess up and made him look like an ancient chinese zombie. So yeah. I was freaking the crap out the entire night looking at him haha!

Then he intensely did my make-up for me and it turned out to be so darn good and was immediately assigned as zombie make-up artist (MUA) for other people.

He can use this as a portfolio if he ever decides to become a professional zombie MUA.

Driving in a simulator!

One of the fishes in the tank died and it was quite tragic that it died vertically. RIP tetra. ):

We went to get more fishes (and 4 prawns) after lunch and the owner was cool enough to let us catch our own fishes.

Gary the snail has been moving quite fast these days.

I’ve been eating like crazy and my heart bleeds every time I step on the scale. We bought 4 packets of durian today and it’s not helping that the office is constantly loaded with food. The buffet for the past 2 days have also been contributing to my weight. Meh. The sports facilities is just over at the opposite building but I have yet to touch any of them. -_-

Before knocking off from work, my colleagues and I tried the Foam tender driving simulator. We get to crash into planes, put off fire, go on terrain rides and speed like mad! It was crazy fun and the 3 of us girls kept screaming and laughing! Beats paying 70 bucks waiting under the sun for USS rides.

Have a good weekend everybody! Going to see Shaista and Shaira again tomorrow and I’m excited.

It’s Shaista’s birthday today and we had a little dinner celebration of steamboat and ice-cream cake. Her face was just beaming with happiness. (:

My attempt at “Vietnamese roll”. It’s just everything rolled up in boiled lettuce. I made one for Ashraf and he said it’s delicious!

Gold headband

I cannot resist gold headbands but they are not easy to find. For the longest time, I’ve stopped buying hair accessories because I have so many and I told myself to snap out of putting little clips on my hair. Perhaps grow up and dress a little….erm…classier? FOR GOD SAKE, I AM 24! *cries*

But the purchasing of hair accessory abstinence died when I saw this at N.E.W Look the other day. It even have little rose gold rhinestones embedded on. I gave up and bought it. Meh.

Sunday afternoon baking session – Chicken pot pies & questionable croissants

My sister decided to bake some chicken pot pies 2 days ago and I decided to take photos! I asked her where did she learn how to make them and she said it’s her own creation. Usually people would make their own soups from scratch but my sister can’t be bothered and use Campbell’s instant soup and added onions, chicken and potatoes. Doesn’t matter; have delicious soup. I actually had to beg my sister to add potatoes because everything with potatoes makes the world a better place.
